The PREZODE initiative is looking for its General Secretary

The General Secretary is the head of the PREZODE Secretariat and will have the responsibilities of coordinating the Secretariat activities, the governance implementation and the organization of the PREZODE initiative

The General Assembly of the members of PREZODE adopted the governance’s terms of reference on October 11th, 2022.

The governance is organised around 4 main bodies:

  • The General Assembly (GA) with all members, (signatories of the Prezode’s letter of intent), adopting the strategy and the deliverables of the initiative,
  • the Steering Committee (SC) proposing the strategic orientations to the General Assembly,
  • The Donors Committee mobilizing and securing resources in support of the Initiative;
  • and the Secretariat. Two advisory bodies complement them: an independent Scientific Advisory Board and an independent Ethics Committee.

The Secretariat coordinates and implements the day-to-day activities of the PREZODE initiative and is strongly linked to the steering committee.

The overarching goal of the Secretariat is to support the development, implementation, and success of the initiative by managing operational activities associated with the annual work plan defined by the SC and validated by the GA. The Secretariat will organize the GA and SC meetings and election process. It will help the SC with the follow-up activities and will also provide substantive support to the other governance bodies.
