What we do

The PREZODE Initiative is to strengthen and integrate knowledge, innovation, capacity building and operational actions to reduce risk and rapidly detect the emergence of zoonotic diseases in countries and globally. Its actions are to deploy academic research, cross-sectoral collaboration in the field, and engagement of operational actors on the frontline of epidemics - to consider prevention strategies against emerging risks.

video explaining One Health prevention requires the sharing of information at all levels in real-time before it reaches higher levels of decisions. Crossing the data is key to getting a better view of the scene and being able to act promptly before a worldwide problem occurs. The community members are an essential part of it.

Communities play a pivotal role in initiatives aimed at mitigating health risks, preventing pandemics, and adapting to climate change within the One Health framework.
