The G7 Summit was held in Carbis Bay, Cornwall on 11-13 June 2021 as part of the 2021 G7 Presidency.

The G7 Health Ministers' meeting held in Oxford, and virtually the 3 and 4 June 2021 reaffirmed the importance of international collaboration on health, in the context of the current global crisis. The ministers addressed a policy communique for guidance and support, where they discussed measures for strengthening global health security and improving resilience against future pandemics.

In the communique, the G7 health ministers welcomed PREZODE as an important initiative for future global health security

Moreover, the leaders of the Group of Seven met in Cornwall on 11-13 June 2021 to sign-up for the Carbis Bay Declaration on health, a historic statement setting out a series of concrete commitments to prevent any repeat of the human and economic devastation wreaked by the coronavirus.
