Doctor in Veterinary Medicine, Zeev Noga, newly appointed Secretary General of PREZODE, took office in early May 2023. He will be responsible for coordinating the Secretariat activities, the governance implementation, and the organization of the initiative. His arrival is a milestone for PREZODE.

“I’m honoured and thrilled to join the PREZODE initiative and to be part of a global One Health effort bringing together governments, research institutions, academia, civil societies, health agencies, and other relevant entities from all over the world, to advance research, advocacy and international collaborations to prevent, reduce and tackle the emergence of zoonotic diseases”.

He previously worked for the World Veterinary Association in different positions, including Executive Director. Prior to it, he was Veterinary Advisor at the European Livestock and Meat Trading Union (UECVB), focusing on EU veterinary legislation and policies on Animal Health, Animal Welfare and Public Health.

He dealt with numerous veterinary issues, focusing on international collaboration to strengthen the veterinary profession worldwide and promote animal health, animal welfare and public health globally under the One Health concept and approach. 

Zeev Noga graduated from the Veterinary Faculty of Milan, Italy.
